BCSolver

Trajectories, reticle holds, local weather, chronographs and BC truing.

Open BCSolver

Feature overview

BCSolver calculates trajectories, holds, velocity and energy using your equipment and atmospheric inputs. It includes reticle views, a range card, Range Mode, chronograph tools and BC truing. Load saved equipment from your Armory and verify predictions against real shots.

Calculate a trajectory

  1. Sign in and open BCSolver. Load an Armory build or enter your projectile and airgun values.
  2. Confirm caliber, weight, velocity, BC model and coefficient, sight height and zero distance. BC accepts decimals such as 0.031.
  3. Enter temperature, pressure, humidity and wind. Confirm units and wind direction relative to your firing direction.
  4. Review the range card and reticle holds. Hide the reticle if using a digital sight or if you only need the numerical card.
  5. Validate the prediction with real shots before relying on it.

Fetch local weather

  1. In BCSolver, optionally enter My station ID to request your Weather Underground station.
  2. If using location instead, enable Precise GPS for a fresh, higher-accuracy fix and permit device location access.
  3. Select Fetch local weather and review the station and update time.
  4. Confirm wind direction and other values. If the preferred station is unavailable or stale, the app can use another station or forecast data.

Chronographs and BC measurements

  • Use the chronograph tools to record a velocity string and inspect its statistics; manual entry remains available.
  • FX Bluetooth connectivity requires a compatible browser and device. On Apple devices the app offers Bluefy because Safari does not provide Web Bluetooth.
  • Actual FX compatibility depends on the model and device; confirm incoming readings before using them.
  • BC truing and saved projectile measurements need reliable measured data. Do not treat an estimate as a manufacturer-certified BC.

Install and update the app

  1. Open the site on the browser and device where you want to install it. Use the install option when offered.
  2. For a BCSolver-focused installation, open BCSolver and use its installation instructions.
  3. On iPhone or iPad, use the supported browser’s Share menu and Add to Home Screen when instructed.
  4. Use Check for updates, or tap the new-version banner when it appears.
  5. Open BCSolver online before a range trip so equipment and supported offline data can be saved. Offline access is not a replacement for online competition submissions, live weather or video.
